About the category

The Green Infrastructure Policy Award is recognising excellence in public policy leadership that accelerates urban green infrastructure implementation. This award primarily acknowledges people developing policies supporting building-integrated green infrastructure.

Green Infrastrucutre Policy nominations may include:

  • political, bureaucratic, non-governmental organisation, academic or private sector personnel in policy/programme development for building-integrated or
  • neighbourhood-scale green infrastructure, or activities driving improved green infrastructure uptake.

Nominations will be judged according to the following criteria:

  • the innovation level,
  • the market impact score,
  • leadership duration.
