Projects submitted in this category include living landscapes or biological systems, including combinations of green roofs, living walls (interior/exterior), green façades, or other creative solutions interfacing with buildings or city infrastructure.

The projects can be nominated by:

• building owners, 
• urban planners,
• architects,
• designers,
• landscape architects,
• engineers,
• municipalities,
• organisations, or initiatives.

Projects will be judged on:

• level of innovation,
• complexity of the project
• level of applicability and modularity, as well as potential for replication,
• contribution to flourishment, biodiversity, succession and livability of the living system for the life of the project.
• level of documentation and project details included in submittal (photos or videos, detail drawings, information about cost, implementation, and maintenance).
